Paleo Day 12 & New Blog Name!

Finally changed my blog name! I'm kind of excited about it. I made a temporary header picture for it because a good friend of mine is working on making me a nice fancy one (while he's not busy doing visual effects for movies). Hopefully it will be down within a week.

We are going grocery today so I'm really excited to try some new recipes. Saturday we are going to check out the farmers market then Joe Patties (local fish market that sits right on the gulf).

check out this success story on MDA. Freaking AMAZING! Then check out this update from him. They call this guy "Papa Grok".

This breakfast was super yummy so I'm going to make it again tomorrow!
Breakfast: 1 egg, 3 oz ham, 2 baby bellas, 3/4 tbsp butter.

Snack: 1/2 a banana.
I'm so glad I discovered how much I like cauliflower, and a million ways to use it.
Lunch: 1 cup cauliflower,  4 oz ham, 1/3 cup pineapple,  a few macadamia nuts,  1 tbsp olive oil, 1/4 tbsp  butter, 1 tbsp honey.

Snack: 6 baby carrots, handful of pecans.
I never eat hard boiled eggs and I have no idea why. It was so good.
Dinner: arugula, 3 baby carrots, 1/4 of a cucumber, 1/4 an avocado, 1/2 tbsp olive oil, 1/2 tbsp sesame oil, 1 tbsp white wine vinegar, 1/2 tbsp honey, 1 hard boiled egg.

  1. Your breakfast looks great! What is a baby bella? I've googled it but I only get results about human babies.

Cauliflower and pineapple AHHH! I have to try it!

I just had some bacon and tomato for breakfast. I like the feeling of being 'pleasantly full and satisfied'. When I used to eat oats, I'd be full, bloated and would lose mobility as I felt so heavy.

I still eat cake and biscuits on the weekend (as you'll see on my blog, I really like to bake which is good and bad) but I now have control over eating such things during the week. There's no desire to eat them:)

Have a fun and happy weekend!

    1. It was really yummy! Baby bellas are just an immature portabello mushroom. That is funny about the human babies. ;)

That cauliflower, pineapple and ham dish is good too. I never really used to eat cauliflower until I realized I could do different things with it. I make mock "cauliflower rice" and "cauliflower mashed potatoes."

I was the same way with oats! Lentils too, which is sad because I do enjoy lentils. But I don't enjoy feeling that way.

I'm sort of lucky that I've never been a big fan of cake. It doesn't tempt me much. But I bet it is more difficult for someone like you who loves to bake. I'll have to go check out some of your desserts!
